Esther earns the first PhD in NetRecon Lab

Congratulations to the new Dr. Max-Onakpoya for being the first person to graduate with a Doctoral degree from the NetReconLab. Dr. Max-Onakpoya defended her dissertation titled, “Improving connectivity for remote cancer patient symptom monitoring and reporting in rural medically underserved regions” in October 2022 and graduated in December 2022. Corey E. Baker is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Kentucky. His research interests are in the area of Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) with emphasis in: opportunistic wireless communication for the Internet of Things (IoT), smart cities, smart homes, and mobile health environments.
