"Perhaps undergoing back-turning dizzinesses, the turbulence of Severus' schemes might come back to the concerns [raised] from the beginning."[1]
Greek Original:
*micana/rrous: i)/sws labw\n i)/liggas a)ntisustro/fous, o( micana/rrous tw=n *seuh/rou skemma/twn, pro\s ta\s a)p' a)rxh=s a)ntane/lqoi fronti/das.
The headword, a masculine nominative singular, is presumably extracted from the quotation given. Not attested elsewhere prior to the Suda, it is a compound formed from mic- (connoting mixed, confused, compounded) and a)na/rrous (upward flow). 'Turbulence' is, at best, an approximation.
[1] Adler's reference is George of Pisidia, Against Severus '91, 94'. (The Severus in question is George's rival, the Archbishop of Antioch.) However, three lines rather than two seem to be quoted.
