[2] (A marginal addition in ms. A.) Adler tentatively attributed this to Symeon Metaphrastes, but its only attestation -- as another proverbial phrase about the impossible -- is in Eustathius' Commentary on the Odyssey (2.241.41), which is post-Suda.
