Suggestions for projects

  • Start now

  • Test your assumptions

  • Show user interfaces, report formats, etc., to your customer as early as possible, get feedback

  • Keep in contact with your customer about any changes that affect the user interface or functions. In first meeting, ask customer about meetings (how often, how to meet: face-to-face, on campus, at their site, Skype, etc.) Keep in contact with customer at least every two weeks (via email if no meeting) about customer issues (NOT team issues). Different customers require different information (technically proficient vs. not).

  • Record agreements (with customer and among the team) via email

  • Set up Doodle poll today, discuss team meeting (frequency, method)

  • Today: Project assignments link on left has assignments. Sit with your team. I will send you email lists of your project.

Monday January 29: No regular class. This class is available for a meeting with your customer. If you will not be meeting your customer in the Monday class, you do not come to class. Regular classes resume on January 31.
