Notes:
[1] Likewise in the Synagoge (upsilon25) and Photius (upsilon49 Theodoridis), similarly elsewhere. The headword, genitive plural, must be quoted from somewhere; there are numerous possibilities (beginning with Pindar and Euripides), of which Theodoridis gives a sample.
[2] Quotation unidentifiable. (Adler suggests Aelian.)
[3] Greek Anthology 7.19.1-2, quoted already at kappa 2656. On Alcman, see alpha 1289.
