Headword: *qriambeu/sas
Adler number: theta,491
Translated headword: having triumphed, having divulged
Vetting Status: high
Translation:
[Used] with an accusative. [Meaning he] having made public.
Greek Original:
*qriambeu/sas: ai)tiatikh=|. dhmosieu/sas.
Notes:
Same entry (minus the grammatical point) in other lexica; see the references at Photius theta222 Theodoridis. The headword is aorist active participle, masculine nominative singular, of the verb qriambeu/w. It must be quoted from somewhere; Theodoridis suggests Gregory of Nazianzus, Speech 40.47 (PG 36.397a), but perhaps there is a more obvious candidate in the New Testament (Colossians 2.15).
See also theta 492, theta 494.
