*prosouri/ou: e)pithdei/ou.
Note:
= Synagoge pi697, Photius pi1352 Theodoridis; cf. Hesychius pi3853-3854. The headword appears to be the genitive singular, masculine or neuter, of an adjective prosou/rios (literally, 'at the tail [of the ship]', referring to favorable sailing winds), which is attested only in lexicography. The only other attested form of this word is the neuter nominative/accusative singular or masculine accusative singular prosou/rion, glossed at Hesychius pi3853. Theodoridis on Photius s.v. opines that prosouri/ou should actually be the prepositional phrase pro\s ou)ri/ou; cf. epsilon 1818.
