[1] These two adjectives exist nowhere else in Greek literature in the forms transmitted here, which are the result of copyist's errors. The first should be not o)zwta/ but o)cwta/, i.e. something made sour-tasting by vinegar. The second should be not stilfwta/ but silfiwta/, i.e. derived from silphion/silphium (sigma 422, sigma 423).
