Notes:
[1] Like delta 101, a faulty version of Greek Anthology 7.208.1-3 (Anyte); here the main error is that 'blood-red' should be nominative and apply to Ares. See tau 38 for a further excerpt from this epigram. Instead of the Suda's σᾶμα (marker) here, Gow and Page (vol. I, 37) read μνᾶμα , the Doric and Aeolic form of μνῆμα (monument).
