[1] Same glossing in other lexica (and cf. kappa 554). The uncontracted headword kataqe/ein is presumably quoted from somewhere; perhaps Procopius, Secret History 11.6; in any event, seemingly not the quotation given here, which has kataqei=n. The verb also appears at kappa 550 and kappa 551.
