Notes:
[1] Adler cites similar ('cf.') entries in syntactical lexica.
[2] For προσποιέομαι , see also pi 2642 and pi 2643. This instance of it -- third person singular, present -- has the same glossing in other lexica (references at Photius pi1357 Theodoridis); it must therefore be quoted from somewhere, but is far too common to identify.
[3] Procopius, History of the Wars of Justinian 6.28.7.
[4] Damascius, Life of Isidore fr. 45 Zintzen (quoted already at alpha 4587, where the reading is προσποιούμενον : "he had no pretence in himself whatsoever").
[5] Procopius, History of the Wars of Justinian 8.18.20. For προσποιοῦμαι with a negative cf. pi 2642.
