[1] From the scholia to Aristophanes, Acharnians 614, where the quoted phrase -- here acephalous -- occurs (web address 1), in reference to two individuals. "Koisyra's son" is Megakles the Alkmaionid. For Lamachos see lambda 81. On Koisyra herself see the note at epsilon 87. She is also mentioned in Clouds 800 (web address 2) and scholia thereto; cf. epsilon 3670.
[2] Such a verb (as opposed to its compound: epsilon 87) is attested only in lexica and scholia. (It was overlooked in LSJ until picked up in the Supplement.)
