Γλωττοστροφεῖν: τὴν γλῶτταν στρέφειν καὶ ποικίλον ἐν τῷ λέγειν καθεστηκέναι: ἢ ἐκστρέφειν τὰ πράγματα καὶ εὐπορεῖν ἐν τῷ λέγειν. Ἀριστοφάνης Νεφέλαις: ἀπὸ γὰρ ὀλοῦμαι μὴ μαθὼν γλωττοστροφεῖν.
