Greek Original:
Ἠρδαλωμένος: λεπρός, καὶ μεμιασμένος. καὶ Ἠρδάλωσεν, ἠσβόλωσεν.
Notes:
For the verb ἀρδαλόω see LSJ s.v.
[1] Likewise or similarly in other lexica (and for the glossing cf. generally eta 246). This perfect middle/passive participle (masculine nominative singular) might be quoted from somewhere in this exact form, though Latte on Hesychius s.v. reasonably regards the source as Ecclesiasticus/Sirach 22.1 LXX (dative singular there).
[2] Again, same glossing elsewhere. The aorist itself comes from a much-quoted line of the comic poet Philemon (fr. 59 Kock, now 62 K.-A.).
Keywords: comedy; definition; dialects, grammar, and etymology; ethics; imagery; religion
