[1] Likewise in Hesychius (and elsewhere). Latte identifies the source of the headword as Euripides, Hecuba 267 (web address 1, cf. the scholia there) and Theodoridis on Photius agrees; as such it is masculine accusative singular (rather than neuter nominative/accusative).
