Similarly in ps.-Zonaras. The headword phrase was not identified by Adler but is identifiable via the TLG as coming from Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews 5.313 (on Sam(p)son: sigma 87, sigma 88).
The aspect of it glossed here is the aorist active participle, masculine nominative plural, of ἐκκόπτω (epsilon 534); cf. also epsilon 545, epsilon 1610.
