Notes:
[1] = Synagoge epsilon883; Photius, Lexicon epsilon2052. The headword is imperfect indicative active, first person singular or third person plural; the latter if it is quoted from Appian, Civil War 4.10.78 (on makeshift ladders). (Büttner-Wobst includes the form as a lemma in the text of his Polybios fr. 46 (520), but it is a different form of the verb that is actually ascribed to Polybios - see note 3 below.) The Suda has expanded this basic entry with two quotations that employ the headword verb sxedia/zw (sigma 1772, sigma 1773, sigma 1774) in middle/passive forms, with the alternative sense provided in the second gloss.
[2] Josephus, Jewish War 2.650 (web address 1).
[3] Polybios fr. 46 Büttner-Wobst; cf. sigma 1773. Here the verb is perfect middle/passive infinitive (e)sxedia/sqai).
