Vetting Status: high

Meaning being puffed up.
Greek Original:
Dioidousa: anti tou onkoumenê.
Notes:
Entry lacking, Adler reports, in two of the mss. No equivalent in other lexica.
The headword is feminine nominative singular, present active participle, of dioide/w (cf. delta 1224, delta 1225, delta 1274). Evidently quoted from somewhere: perhaps Chrysippus' definition of xo/los (also noted by Stobaeus) as o)rgh\ dioidou=sa.
