[1] The headword (which must be quoted from somewhere) is the neuter nominative/accusative plural superlative used suppletively with the positive degree adjective κακός . This form is also used adverbially; see LSJ s.v χείρων at web address 1 below.
[2] This is not related to the headword, but is the masculine accusative singular (presumably from the quotation that follows) of the noun χειριστής , from "hand" (χείρ ) whereas the headword is from *χερ -yων and analogically *χερ -yιστος .
