But Antiphon [uses] a)paqh= the [sc. neuter] plural, [meaning] experiences which did not truly happen.[2]

"They say that the wise man is passionless, because of his lack of susceptibility [to passion]. But [they add that] the bad man is another sort of "passionless" one, described as such because he is the equivalent of the harsh and relentless one."[3]

Also [in the neuter] a)paqe/s. "To be healthy in dying rather than in living."[4]
