[1] Triphales was the main character's name in the homonymous play (cf. tau 871, tau 1135).
[2] This comedy, staged in 410 or 409 BCE, was almost certainly an attack on Alcibiades (alpha 1280), probably in reference to his participation in the mutilation of the Hermai (epsilon 3047, and cf. phi 50).
