Now when a certain man [named] Sampson coming into the city of the tribe of Benjamin[1] saw his own wife seized by the tribesmen and dishonored by the multitude, he took away her dead body; and he personally cut her into pieces to display to the 12 tribes, to bear witness to the lawlessness of Benjamin. Σαμψών: ὅτι ἐπὶ Σαμψὼν ἀνήρ τις πορευόμενος ἐν πόλει φυλῆς Βενιαμὶν ὑπὸ τῶν ἐμφυλίων ἁρπαγεῖσαν τὴν ἑαυτοῦ γαμετὴν ἐθεάσατο καὶ καταισχυνθεῖσαν ὑπὸ πλήθους ἀπέλαβε νεκράν: αὐτὸς δὲ κατατεμὼν αὐτὴν ἐπὶ τὰς ιβ# ἐξαπέστειλε φυλάς, εἰς μαρτύριον τῆς ἀνομίας Βενιαμίν. καὶ οἱ μὲν παραχρῆμα λαβόντες αὐτήν, ἀναβάντες ἐπὶ τὰς πόλεις ἐξεῖλον τὴν φυλὴν Βενιαμίν, π# καὶ ζ# καταναλώσαντες χιλιάδας.
