Plato considers [wisdom] in the most specific way as the science of things which are intelligible and really existing [o)/ntws o)/ntwn];[1] he says that such a science is concerned with god and with the soul separated from the body.[2] In a special way he calls philosophy wisdom, as being a desire of [= for] divine[3] philosophy.[4] But in a general way every experience for him is also called wisdom, such as when he calls the craftsman 'wise'.

Diogenes Laertius 3.63. The headword itself is in the accusative case, as already in sigma 805. See also sigma 806, sigma 808, sigma 809.
[1] This Platonic expression means 'real existence' and is more frequent in the later dialogues than in the earlier. See Phaedrus 247C & E; Republic 597D.
[2] *kexwrisme/nh ("separated"): frequently yuxh\ sw/matos ("soul from body"); cf. Republic 609D, Philebus 55E, Phaedo 67C, etc.
[3] *qei=os: sacred to a god, but also excellent, more than human.
[4] The lexicographer mis-remembers or mis-copies the noun here, adding confusion to the statement. D.L. says 'divine wisdom'.
