Νεολαία: νέων συναγωγή. ὁ νέος λαός. ὑπὲρ τοῦ τὴν νεολαίαν τὴν Ῥωμαίων ἀξιοζήλως τε καὶ ἅμα τῷ θάρσει διαγωνίζεσθαι. καὶ Αἰλιανός: λοιμὸς γὰρ τῇ Ἐφέσῳ πόλει ἐνήκμαζεν οἷος βαρύτατος, προμοίροις δὲ θανάτοις διεφθείροντο ἡ νεολαία, καὶ ἦν ἀγονία καὶ μέντοι καὶ γυναικῶν καὶ τῆς ἀγέλης τῆς τετράποδος. Νεωλέα δὲ ὁ τοῦ νεὼ λαός.
