[2] Greek Anthology 6.54.9-10 (in Doric dialect), attributed to Paul the Silentiary (for whom see lambda 13, n.2). The Locrian musician Eunomos (perhaps a nomen loquens = good tune) in a critical moment in a prize contest had a string break on his lyre, but a cicada leaped onto the lyre and picked up the tune, winning the contest.
