[1] The headword phrase occurs three times in Aristophanes: Birds 341, Lysistrata 945, and Frogs 512. (The scholia to the last of these supply the present entry.) Literally, "you are having babbling", with the participle of "have" used as a progressive marker: LSJ s.v. e)/xw IV.2.
[2] Greek Anthology 6.292.2 (Hedylus). The noun here is LSJ lh=ros B, a word for the gold ornament on a tunic, and is unconnected to lhre/w or lh=ros A, "babble, trifles".
