An entry which combines quoted phrases from
Aristophanes,

scholia there. The jokes are expertly unravelled by MacDowell 278-9. The main point is that, in the dialogue summarized here, a kaunakes/Persis (cf.
gamma 74) is far more luxurious than the other items mentioned.
