The unglossed primary headword is third person plural, pluperfect, of a)feide/w; the supplementary one is the perfect active participle, masculine nominative plural, of the same verb. Both must be quoted from somewhere.

[1] Same glossing in other lexica, but 'hindering' cannot be right; Theodoridis obelizes it. One could supply a negative, as with the second gloss, but in fact the participle itself should be kataptu/santes "behaving with contempt" (as in Hesychius eta989).
