Translated headword: they were reveling
Vetting Status: high
Translation:
[Meaning] they were having a good time.
Greek Original:
*)ebrua/zonto: eu)frai/nonto.
Note:
Same entry in Hesychius, ps.-Zonaras and, according to Adler, the Ambrosian Lexicon. The headword is imperfect middle, third person plural, of the verb brua/zw (cf. beta 567). One would suppose it to be quoted from somewhere, but it is perhaps a mistake: Photius, Lexicon epsilon17 has the equivalent active, e)bru/azon (glossed with eu)wxou=nto), perhaps extracted from Menander, Aspis 48.
