Greek Original:
*)epibwsa/menos: e)pibohsa/menos, e)pikalesa/menos.
Notes:
Similarly (the second, substantive gloss only) in ps.-Zonaras. The headword is aorist middle participle (in contracted form), masculine nominative singular, of e)piboa/w; cf. epsilon 2237, epsilon 2245, epsilon 2246, epsilon 2247, epsilon 2249. It must be quoted from somewhere. Outside these lexica the only extant instance occurs in a long quotation (fr.3 Powell, at line 6) from the lyric poet and tragedian Alexander of Aetolia [alpha 1127] by Parthenius, Narrationes amatoriae 14.5.
Hesychius epsilon2664 is a parallel entry for e)pibw/somai, quoted from Homer (Odyssey 1.378 = 2.143).
