Same or similar entry in other lexica. The headword adjective is an epithet of the sea in Homer and Hesiod (see LSJ s.v.). It is here in the masculine accusative singular or neuter nominative/accusative singular, evidently quoted from somewhere; probably from Hesiod, Theogony 440 (where 'sea' is left implicit).
