Diamarturai: bebaiôsai. kai Diamarturein, to prolegein tês apeitheias tên timôrian kai tês eupeitheias tên ôpheleian.
[1] (cf.
delta 646.) Same equivalence, according to Adler, in the
Ambrosian Lexicon. The headword -- on which see next note -- must be quoted from somewhere (probably the
Septuagint: there are instances in
Exodus and
Exechiel).
[2] The primary headword is a middle imperative form of the verb
diamartu/romai (LSJ at web address 1), which generally appears in the middle. This secondary one, by contrast, is the present infinitive of the active verb
diamarture/w (LSJ at web address 2) which becomes synonymous in late Greek but originally means to make use of
diamarturi/a (
delta 644).

Psalm 80:9
