Note:
Quotation unidentifiable, but also occurs at alpha 2877; Iotomes was apparently a leader of an uprising in Armenia, but there is no reference to him apart from four entries in the Suda. In addition to the current entry and alpha 2877, see also pi 1029 and pi 2770, where we learn that Iotomes was eventually condemned to execution by beheading.
