לעמפּל שטײט צוגעגרײט נאָך פֿון באַטאָג. דער טאַטע גײט־אום אי־
בער דער שטוב, די הענט אַרונטער, און דאַװנט מעריבֿ. אױסגעשטאַנען
שמונה־עשׂרה, נעמט ער אַרױס פֿון טישקעסטל אַ װאַקסן ליכטל (דעם
שמשׂ), זאָגט „עלינו“ און מאַכט צו אונדז, צו מיר מיט מײַן ייִנגערן
ברודער מאָטל, אַף לשון־קודש:
     ― אי ־ אָ! שהוא נוטה שמים ױוסד האָרץ... אי ־ נו ־ אָ!
