Ὑπόγυον: ἐγγύτερον, πρόσφατον, νεωστὶ γινόμενον, τὸ πρὸ ὀλίγου καὶ μετ' ὀλίγον. τὸ ἐχθές. προέθηκεν ὑπόγυον, ῥιψάσπιδος γενομένου, τῷ καιρῷ χρώμενος εἰς αἰσχύνην τοῦ δεδρακότος. μείζονα γὰρ τὰ ὑπόγυα πταίσματα τὴν συμφορὰν ἔχει. καὶ αὖθις: ὀλισθηρὸς δ' ἦν ὁ δρόμος ἐξ αἵματος πεπηγότος ὑπογύου τε καὶ πολλοῦ: ὡς τῶν φευγόντων ἀπελείποντο καὶ ἄκοντες.
