[1] From Timaeus' Platonic Lexicon, likewise glossing this nominative plural headword. Probably generated by Plato, Theaetetus 175E, where the accusative plural is used of logoi.
[2] Adler tentatively attributed this quotation to Damascius, and it is admitted as such into Zintzen's edition (as fr. 259). However, it is actually a close approximation (with participle, here, for finite verb) of Procopius, On the Wars of Justinian 2.30.7. See on this Theodoridis' Photius edition, vol.II pp.XCIII-XVIV.
