Θέωρος: ὄνομα κύριον. ἦν δὲ ἐπίορκος καὶ κόλαξ. ἐκωμῳδεῖτο δὲ ὁ Θέωρος καὶ ὡς μοιχὸς καὶ ἰχθυοφάγος καὶ πονηρός. περὶ Κόρινθον οὖν διέτριβε διὰ τὰς ἐκεῖ πόρνας.

Mentioned in several plays of Aristophanes (Acharnians, Knights, Clouds, Wasps) from the 420s BCE. The present material derives from the scholia to Knights 608.
