The Synagoge and other Suda mss make fili/a nominative, offering 'friendship', rather than 'a pouring... for friendship' as a gloss. The headword in the plural spondai/ is often used metonymically in the sense of 'treaty' or 'alliance'. The nominative singular headword may be a generic lexical reference or extracted from some literary source.
[2] Greek Anthology 6.190.7 (Gaetulicus), also quoted with more context at kappa 2665. The nominative lemma, an adjective derived from the primary headword, occurs in the accusative in the quotation.
