Of Epidaurus. Father of Pamphile,[1] whose commentaries he wrote, in 3 books, according to Dionysius in book 30 of his Musical History.[2]

*swthri/das, *)epidau/rios, path\r *pamfi/lhs, h(=s ta\ u(pomnh/mata e)pe/grayen, w(s o( *dionu/sios e)n l# th=s mousikh=s i(stori/as, bibli/a g#.
Notes:
RE Soteridas(1), and cf. [sigma 875]; both entries probably refer to the same grammarian, although Soteridas is there said to have been Pamphile's husband. This one's name was Sokratidas, according to Pamphile's biography in [pi 139]; perhaps confusion in the sources caused an error.
[1] See [pi 139] Pamphile.
[2] [delta 1171] Dionysius.
