Note:
Second person singular, present indicative, of suxna/zw (a denominative verb from suxno/s, for which see sigma 1699, sigma 1700); cf. under theta 36, pi 3150, and similar entries in other lexica, including Timaeus' Platonic Lexicon. Their genesis is probably ancient commentary on Plato, Republic 1.328C, where qami/zeis occurs with much the same sense (and first in Homer: Iliad 18.386 & 425, Odyssey 5.88).
