Headword: *sunqumei=n
Adler number: sigma,1593
Translated headword: to be of one mind
Vetting Status: high
Translation:
[Meaning] to share in anger, or to be united in soul.
Greek Original:
*sunqumei=n. sunorgi/zesqai, h)\ sumyuxei=n.
Notes:
Adler reports that this entry is lacking in ms F, and the glosses in A; also that in V the first gloss is uncompound o)rgi/zesqai in V. She further notes that Bernhardy suspected sumyuxei=n (a verb which seems to be attested only here and once in Theodore the Studite).
The headword infinitive is also glossed by Hesychius (sigma2629), but simply with sumpei/qesqai. LSJ cites an instance of the verb in Epicharmus.
