Ῥᾳθυμεῖν: οὐχ ὡς ἡμεῖς φαμεν τὸ τοῖς ἀφροδισίοις σχολάζειν, ἀλλὰ ἁπλῶς τὸ ἀργεῖν καὶ τρυφᾶν: παρὰ τὸ τὰ ῥᾷστα τῷ θυμῷ διδόναι. Πολύβιος: πάντων εὐδαιμονιζόντων τὸν Πόπλιον καὶ παρακαλούντων ἀναπαύεσθαι καὶ ῥᾳθυμεῖν, ἐπεὶ πέρας ἐπιτέθεικε τῷ πολέμῳ, μακαρίζειν αὐτοὺς ἔφη, ὅτι τοιαύτας ἔχουσι τὰς διαλήψεις.
