Likewise or similarly in other lexica; references at Photius rho157, where Theodoridis follows Naber in believing the headword to be quoted from Luke 2.35. Be that as it may, only the second of the glosses is near the mark: this was a large broad sword used by Thracians and others (see LSJ s.v.).
