Adler number: pi,692

Greek Original:
Παρομαρτεῖ: παρακολουθεῖ.
Notes:
= Hesychius pi981 (cf. omicron1802), Synagoge, Photius pi434 Theodoridis.
The headword is present indicative active, third person singular, of παρομαρτέω . It must be quoted from somewhere. Theodoridis (above) suggests Cyril of Alexandria, Commentary on the Minor Prophets 21 (PG 71.672c), but there are numerous alternatives, beginning with Lucian, Timon 55. (There is no gloss in the scholia there, but compare the participle παρομαρτῶν in Juppiter Tragoedus 17, which the scholia gloss with συνακολουθῶν .)
