Vetting Status: high
Translation:
[Meaning] to demonstrate, to refer to.
Greek Original:
*paremfh=nai. paradei=cai, parashma=nai.
Notes:
= Synagoge, Lexica Segueriana 332.17. Entry lacking, Adler reports, in Suda ms F (and the second gloss lacking in ms V).
The headword is the aorist active infinitive of the doubly compound verb paremfai/nw, evidently quoted from somewhere. This particular form is only attested thrice (outside lexicography) in the surviving literature: Philo Judaeus, Quis rerum divinarum heres sit 87; Anna Comnena, Alexiad 1.13.3; and in an anonymous commentary to Aristotle's Rhetoric, 21.2.233 Rabe.
