[1] The headword -- imperfect middle, third person plural, of proe/xw (pi 2916) -- is taken to be quoted from Homer, Odyssey 3.8. The gloss printed by Adler is aorist, though Adler reports that mss FVM have the imperfect (proe/ballon) and Theodoridis suspects that that might be correct.
