The addendum Prexonos -- genitive case -- occurs in one of the mimiamboi of
Herodas [see generally OCD4 s.v.]: 4.25. Perhaps, therefore, the whole entry stems from
Herodas, because there is a Prexinos in 6.60-62. Alternatively, what has prompted the entry is the mention of Prexinos the Troizenian warship-commander in
Herodotus 7.180.
