Similar entry in Hesychius pi2018 (with three glosses: θερμή , θρασεῖα and φλεγμαίνουσα ), in ps.-Zonaras (where the gloss is συνετή ), and in the Etymologicum Gudianum (which appears to misconstrue the headword as an abstract noun, glossing it with φρόνησις ). Eustathius' commentary on Homer, Iliad 15.81, cites a phrase φρὴν πευκαλίμη in the context of discussing one of Homer's four instances of the dative plural phrase φρεσὶ πευκαλίμῃσι .
