The headword in isolation could be nominative or accusative plural, masculine or feminine, of the adjective (on which see also pi 134). However, the gloss resolves these ambiguities in favor of accusative feminine, which is relatively rare for this adjective. Given Timaeus (above), Plato, Laws 6.782B is the likeliest passage to have generated the entry, but, as Timaeus does not in fact confine himself to that author, other possibilities include Demosthenes 21.19, and Philo Judaeus, Life of Moses 2.72.
