Demosthenes in the [speech] Against Nikostratos [writes]: "he broke down the beds of olives in rows about".[1] Didymus calls "in rows about" a particular kind of olive, which Philochorus named "row-ers".[2] Still, perhaps the orator called "in rows about" those sown in a circle round the plot, in a row.
